Carbuncle Carols

by Maureen S. O'Brien, 2/17/00

(ttto: "The Christmas Song")

No geese roast on Mrs Hudson's fire,
No kids whining at your no's.
Yuletide carols by a robotic choir,
And Holmes dressed up in Scrooge's clothes.

Everybody knows

That clues and new blue Carbuncles
Help to make the season bright;
Yardie friends with their weapons aglow
Will find it nice to work tonight.

  Now Moriarty's on his way;
He wants to steal the toys and goodies with his sleigh.
And every Carbuncle is gonna spy
To see if Fenwick's gonna show him how to fly.

And so, DIC offers you this episode
For kids from 2103 --
Although it's been played many times, many ways,
Merry Christmas,
Merry Christmas,
Merry Christmas, 221-B!

(ttto: "Christmas Bells Are Ringing")

Merrily, merrily through the town,
Big Ben's bells are ringing.
Merrily, merrily, no more frown,
Holmes' laughter's ringing.
Christmas Eve is gone and past
One long day is done at last
Ding, dong, ding, dong,
Big Ben's bells are ringing!

(ttto: "We Wish You a Merry Christmas")

We wish you a blue Carbuncle,
We wish you a blue Carbuncle,
We wish you a blue Carbuncle
Under your tree this year.

We all want a blue Carbuncle,
We all want a blue Carbuncle,
We all want a blue Carbuncle,
And our parents in fear.

Now give us a blue Carbuncle,
Now give us a blue Carbuncle,
Now give us a blue Carbuncle,
And give it right here.

We wish you a blue Carbuncle,
We wish you a blue Carbuncle,
We wish you a blue Carbuncle,
And a debt-free next year!
