Disclaimer: Sadly,I don't own Dragonball or Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century.

Author's Note: Just so you know, this story takes place right after the "Buu Saga", so Gohan is still a teenager and Goten and Trunks are 7 and 8.

A man in his late fifties rubbed his tired eyes. It was 2:00 in the morning; he should have been home hours ago, but he just had to finish his invention. As he connected the last wire he couldn't help but smile. "At last," he said, "It's finally complete!"

"And I shall gladly take it off your hands, Professor Brown." The Professor turned around and faced a man in Victorian-style clothes, holding an ionizer at him.

"You're....you're Moriarty!" the Professor exclaimed.

"That I am, and I want the P.D.M."

"I ...um...don't know what you're talking about."

"Then perhaps I should refresh your memory. The P.D.M., which stands for Portal Dimension Machine, I have heard how it can open portals into other dimensions; I would find it quite useful, which is why I am here. Now, if you want to keep your good health, I suggest you step aside."

"You won't get away with this," said Professor Brown, as Moriarty picked up the machine.

"Oh, but I already have."

Moriarty's lair

Moriarty had an evil grin on his face, as he looked over the P.D.M. "It's hard to believe that such a small machine could have so much power."

"Master, are you sure using that thing is a good idea?" asked Fenwick, nervously.

"Of course it is, you idiot!"

"But what if it opens to a dimension with a monster on the other side?"

"Whatever is on the other side, I can handle it! Now, let us see if this machine works." He turned one of the knobs and the P.D.M. started to hum. Then suddenly the machine started to shake violently.

"Um... please tell me it is supposed to do that," asked Fenwick.

DBZ World

Gohan sat on the grass as he watched his father and Vegeta fight.

"Hey, Gohan, how long are they going to keep this up?" asked Goten. "They been at it for four hours already!"

Gohan just shrugged his shoulders. "With Vegeta involved, who knows?"

"I think my dad is going to win," Trunks stated.

"No way, cause my dad is going to win!" said Goten

"Will not!"

"Will too!"

"Will not!"

"Will too!"

"Hey, look you two," interrupted Gohan. "Dad and Vegeta stopped fighting." Goten and Trunks looked up into the sky and saw that their dads were just floating there, as if they were waiting for something to happen.

"That's weird," said Trunks. "It's not like Dad to all of a sudden stop while he's in a middle of a fight."

Gohan nodded in agreement. "You two stay here, I'll find out what happened." Gohan flew up to where Goku and Vegeta were. He could tell by the look on his father's face that he was seriously thinking about something.

"What's wrong, Dad?"

"Don't you two feel it?" Goku asked.

"Feel what?"

"I am not quite sure, but something is wrong."

"Kakarotto, you are being ridiculous," Vegeta replied. "I think that you're just stalling because you know I will win."

"Vegeta, I..."

"Dad, behind you!"

A black portal had suddenly appeared out of nowhere behind Goku. Before Goku could look to where his son had pointed, the portal sucked him in.

"Dad, hold on! I am coming!"

"Gohan, wait!"

Before Vegeta could stop him, Gohan went into the portal after his father. The portal closed and vanished, just as mysteriously as it appeared.

"This is not good!" said Vegeta.
