air pod: emergency device used on the Moon in case of a meteorite strike or other sudden air loss. Older models put the occupant into suspended animation to save more air; in newer models this does not occur. (SIGN2)
Alienator Attack: popular holographic targetshooting game (EMPT2) Probably an in-joke about DIC's series in development, Alienators: Evolution Continues...unless Scopes' happy little bunch invaded in the past of the SH22 universe.
anato-morphing: anatomy-changing (RESI2)
anatomical reconstruction: plastic surgery (RESI2)
anti-grav dance clubs (CRIM)
auto-tracker: law enforcement tool (CRIM)
biochips: device used in biotechnology (SCAL)
bio-electric signature: a measurement presumably of the electricity put out by an individual human body (ENGN2). Used with a thumbprint and genetic pattern to unlock Victor Hatherly's safe, since he believed they could not all three be mimicked or faked.
bio-magnetic restraint: restraint system used in mental hospitals (DERA)
bio-virus dynamo: support system to keep nanotech like the micro-ticks 'alive' (FIVE2).
Biotech: genetic engineering company started by Nancy Barclay's father (CROO2)
blaster: simulated 'gun' used for holographic games like Alienator Attack (EMPT2)
bondo-plastic (MUSG2)
brain techs: humorous term for psychiatrists (FALL)
burst message: message condensed into a single burst of sound, which can be incorporated into another, more innocuous message (TWIS2).
Carbuncle: an animatronic character doll which was the fad at Christmas in 2103. The doll came in blue or green (at least) and would speak when turned on. (BLUE2)
coachcraft: the type of car used by Holmes and Watson (EMPT2)
com-link: interplanetary communications system (poster, SILV2)
compudroid: a robot (FALL)
Copernicans: precious stones found only on the Moon (SIGN2)
course marker: a holographic projection which marks the course for a spaceship race (SILV2)
credits: the currency system (CRIM)
crime-notize: Moriarty and Fenwick's reverse application of the crypnotic process. It turns ordinary citizens into criminals. (CRIM)
cruiser: flying police vehicle (FALL) In MAZA2, 'cruiser' is used as a generic term -- both Fenwick's car and the Prime Minister's Rolls Royce are called 'cruisers'.
cryogenic projector: ice ray invented by Sir Evan Hargreaves (EMPT2)
crypnotic process: hypnotically removes the desire to commit crimes from persons convicted of crimes. Considered more humane than prison or execution, though this is certainly debatable. The process is secret, highly technical and encrypted for security. (FALL)
Cubbitt Farms: experimental farm trying to make vegetables that grow without heat, for farming in space or on the Moon (DANC2)
cyber-nest: container for the micro-ticks (FIVE2).
de-magnetizer: device which erases robot and computer memory (RESI2)
DNA washer: machine which alters DNA, making identification of a criminal impossible (RESI2)
downtown trendies: fashionable young New Londoners like Deidre (SUSS2)

escape pod: a safety mechanism used to eject from a spaceship (SILV2)
galacto-steel: meter-thick material used for bank vaults. It can withstand a nuclear war (SUSS2)

Galileo City: city on the moon. It's at least 20 years old (SIGN2), but the resort there just opened in 2103 (FALL, HOUN2)
galvoline: fluid used in hovercraft. It's green. (MAZA2) You know, I don't think those name clearance lawyers work very hard....

hovercab: a hovercraft used as a taxicab (SIGN2)

inhibitor beams: beams which 'suck the propulsion right out' of ion thrusters (FIVE2).
ion damper: part of the undercarriage on ships with ion thrusters. They must contain insulation material. (SILV2)
ion trail: trail left by a hovercraft, detectable by instruments (CROO2)
ion thrusters: those two holes underneath a hovercraft, and what makes it go. (MUSG2)
ionic cannon: device for knocking down walls (SUSS2)
ionizer: standard police or security hand weapon. The weapon can be used to do damage or create rings of force, which bind a suspect. Moriarty possesses an anti-ionizer technology, which he used on his robot in CRIM to make it invulnerable to attacks like Lestrade's. (HOUN2)
laserwave sanitation grid: device which vaporizes falling debris (EMPT2)
lawn droid: lawn mower/groundskeeping device (SECR)
lumi-bars: laser security system (MUSG2)
lumies: slang for 'illuminators', a lighting system (RESI2)
Luna City: city on the Moon which hosted the Asteroid Belt Grand Prix spaceship race (SILV2)

lunar striders: weighted shoes used for walking on the Moon. (SIGN2)
lunite: common lunar mining explosive (SIGN2)
Mazarin chip: top secret new device which creates solid 'virtual environments' designed by the user. It works by voice command.
medscan: medical scanning device. Watson has one installed in his hand (SIGN2). It includes a 'bio-organic medscan' and a 'medscan imager' (FIVE2).
Med-Sector: a New London neighborhood full of medical facilities (ENGI2)
micro-ticks: nanotech machines created by Dr. Joseph Dunsmere to permanently purge any robotic matrix (computer memory) they encountered. The newest and fastest computers utilize a storage matrix system similar to robotic matrices, according to Lestrade and Watson (FIVE2).
Midgard: London maximum-security psychiatric hospital. (DERA)
Model 7 Law Enforcement Compudroid: the type of robot Watson is. (FALL)
monorail: that elevated, enclosed tube transit system that winds throughout London from building to building. It crosses the Thames in 8 different places, according to Watson (TWIS2).
nanobot: operator-controlled nanomachine, used for such purposes as computer chip assembly and mind control. (DERA)
nanomechanics: The principles of nanotech? Tiny little nanobots? Anyway, it's what makes the DNA washer work. (RESI2)
neutro-matter: long-theorized and recently discovered substance that keeps matter and anti-matter from reacting with each other (at least in this show's universe!). It was detected in 'the constellation of Apollo', an obvious misdirection. (MUSG2)
New London Hospital: that tall set of buildings with the helipads on top (DANC2 and others)
oxy-blasting: excavation process used in construction of deep foundations (MUSG2)
oxygen generator (SIGN2)
pointers: slang term for index fingers (SUSS2)
polysilicate cloth (MUSG2)
revivification: the reversal of the suspended animation process (SIGN2)
sonic disruptor: weapon capable of destroying buildings (RESI2)
Tech-Sector: a New London neighborhood filled with high tech businesses.
telephotoscope: visual magnifier. Watson has one in his head (TWIS2).
thermal regenerator: handy-dandy in-home surgical instrument. Watson has one in his chest! (FIVE2)

unauthorized refuse deposit: citation for littering (RESI2)
uni-lube: lubrication fluid used in hovercraft (RESI2)
utility ship: a spaceship used to carry various crew equipment and to rescue team members (SILV2).
videophone: the way our heroes call each other. This applies to both the phones in houses and in flying cars. (Closed Captions for various eps)
Windegate Toy Store: where Henry Baker bought a blue Carbuncle doll (BLUE2)
Yardie: criminal slang term for New Scotland Yard detectives (FALL)
zed: The letter Z, as pronounced in the UK. Also used as an expletive. (FALL)
