"It's about time you got here!" Lestrade snapped as she went over to Holmes. "This guy is driving me nuts!"

"Now calm down, Lestrade. I would like to introduce you to Gohan. I believe he is the one who can help you the most, for you see he is Mr. Goku's son."

"His son!!"

"Yes. Wiggins, why don't you and Tennyson take Gohan to his father?"

"Sure thing, Mr. Holmes."

"Would someone please tell me what is going on?" asked Lestrade.

"Perhaps I should explain."

"Who are you?"

"I am Professor Brown. And it's like this, Inspector...."

 

The Irregulars and Gohan entered the room and saw Goku sitting in one of the chairs.

"Gohan!" Goku stood up and greeted them with a relieved grin. "Boy, am I glad to see you!"

"Dad, how did you get yourself in this mess?"

Goku scratched his head. "Actually, I am still trying to figure that out myself."

"Dad, I would like you to meet some friends of mine. This is Wiggins, the girl is Deidre, and this is Tennyson."

Goku shook Wiggins' hand. "Nice to meet ya. Any friend of Gohan's is a friend of mine."

Goku accidentally squeezed Wiggins' hand a little too tight, which resulted in Wiggins saying, "Ow."

Goku instantly let go. "Sorry. Sometimes I don't know my own strength."

"Beep-beep-beep," said Tennyson.

"What did he say?" Goku asked.

"He said, 'Maybe we should go see Mr. Holmes,'" Deidre translated.

"Who?"

"I'll explain it to you on the way, Dad."

 

Lestrade was shaking her head in disbelief. "You're telling me that the story he was telling was actually true!"

"Correct, Lestrade," confirmed Holmes.

"What do you know? And here I was thinking he was a nutcase."

"I told ya I was telling the truth!" Goku shouted as he entered with the teenagers.

"All right, all right. There's no need to rub it in!"

Goku took a step forward. "So you're Mr. Holmes. Nice to meet you. Thanks for helping us out."

"There is no need. Whenever Moriarty is involved, it is my solemn duty to stop him. Now let's proceed to the next part of the plan."

"What's that?"

"Locating Moriarty."

"But how? We don't know where he is," said Deidre.

"I'll explain that," started Professor Brown. "When the P.D.M. is activated, it gives off certain radio signals. Now that we know Moriarty has used it, I should be able to track him."

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get going!" said Lestrade.

"Watson: Deidre, Tennyson, Gohan and Professor Brown will ride with you. Mr. Goku, Wiggins and I shall go with Lestrade."

 

Fifteen minutes later, both hovercraft were in the air. Watson's coachcraft was in the lead, while Lestrade was right behind him.

"I hope that professor knows what he is doing."

"I am quite sure that you have nothing to worry about, Lestrade."

"Can I ask you guys a question?" interrupted Goku.

"Depends on what the question is," answered Lestrade.

"I was just wondering. This Moriarty, can he blow up planets with his finger, or self-destruct?"

"Erm...not that I recall," said Holmes. "Why do you ask?"

"I just wanted to know if there was a chance of me dying again."

There was an awkward silence. "You...died before?" asked Wiggins.

"Yeah. Twice, actually."

"You and Mr. Holmes have something in common, 'cause he died before, too."

"Really? Did they use the dragonballs to bring you back to life?"

"I am afraid not."

"Hey, I think they found something," said Lestrade. "Watson is pulling over." Lestrade drove the cruiser down and parked next to Watson, in front of an abandoned building. Everyone got out of the vehicles.

"I am assuming this is where Moriarty is hiding," said Holmes.

The professor nodded. "The radio signals are coming from inside."

Lestrade walked up to the door and tried to open it, but without success. "It's locked, looks like. I have to...HEY!"

Gohan pulled Lestrade away from the door.

"What are you doing?"

"Sorry. I just didn't want you in my dad's way."

"What do you mean...."

As Lestrade was saying this, Goku shot an energy blast at the door, which forced it to burst open. Goku smiled. "That should do it." He started to walk in, but then he stopped and turned around. Everyone (except Gohan) was giving him strange looks. "What did I do now?"

Deidre whispered in Tennyson's ear, "Remind me never to visit their dimension."

Tennyson beeped in agreement.
